An absolutely gorgeous rendition of almond that teases us with glimpses of bitterness glittering darkly behind the expected sweetness, keeping us unsettled and intrigued and coming back for more. Not that sweetness isn't present in Confetto – it's there, but it's complicated. Without its frequent companions vanilla and rose, almond is less of a comfort food and more of a provocative elixir.
